They say that every man has 2 wolves inside,
One of them is a black one, and one of them is white,
They say the path you’ll walk depends on which one you feed,
One of them will heal you and one will make you bleed,
So woe betide the man who doesn’t follow his heart,
He’ll surely end up walking the black road path,
It takes a lot of discipline to set yourself free,
That’s why they say the good red road begins with humility,
The 1st sacred key is to be silent,
To learn how to listen, how to be quiet,
To quieten down the chatterin' of that restless mind,
To learn how to listen to the truth that’s inside,
The 2nd sacred key is to know,
To learn what you need to and unlearn what you don’t,
To know that all your knowledge isn’t wisdom yet,
But if you play your cards right, it’s the wisdom you’ll get,
The 3rd sacred key is to want,
To know when to let go and when to hold on,
To let go of everything that’s been holding you back,
Give it to the fire, let it burn down to ash,
The 4th sacred key is to dare,
Dare to launch yourself up into the air,
Above the Earth, the Water, and the Fire,
Trusting that your own wings will help you to fly,
They say that every man has 2 wolves inside,
One of them is a black one and one of them is white,
They say the path you walk depends on which one you feed,
Or as the old chief says, you could teach them both to sing, teach them both to sing...
